AI, Data and Society
In many of Florian Mehnert's works, technological systems are not treated as neutral tools, but as forces that reshape perception, behaviour, public space and responsibility.
Technical systems as social forces
The projects examine how data is collected, translated, visualised or used against people; how surveillance enters everyday spaces; how digital systems shape social relations; and how artificial intelligence produces new images of future, decision and identity.
The question is not only what technology can do, but what technological systems do to human beings: to freedom, judgment, visibility and responsibility.
The thematic page “AI, Data and Society” brings together works from the three fields of Social Systems, Perceptual Fields and Data Structures.
