Florian Mehnert
Florian Mehnert is a German concept and media artist. His work investigates systems of perception, interaction and society. Across drawing, photography, painting, installation, light works and participatory formats, he examines how data, technologies, spatial structures and social behaviour shape contemporary experience.
Mehnert's works translate invisible processes into visual, spatial and social situations. Movement becomes line, data becomes light, observation becomes structure and participation becomes artistic material. His practice connects analogue trace, digital infrastructure and social sculpture.
Systems become image, space and social situation.
Mehnert works across drawing, photography, painting, installation and participatory formats. Rather than separating media, the practice follows recurring structures: observation, movement, participation, data translation and social behaviour.
Digital infrastructures, ecological traces, surveillance systems and collective interaction are translated into visual, spatial and physical situations. Drawings, light works and participatory projects are understood as connected forms within one continuous practice.
